Our Story
More Than a Hundred Years on the Lake
For over a century, Lily Lake Resort has happily hosted vacationing families and outdoor enthusiasts with friendly hearts and lots of charm. This building has been a hotel since the early 1900s. Ask anyone who's found us and you'll hear the same two words: hidden gem.
We're on the shore of Lily Lake in the Town of Wheatland, next door to the New Munster Wildlife Area. Today it's a beach, a bar and grill, and ten rooms, open year-round. Neighbors from Milwaukee and Chicago are frequent visitors, and we've hosted travelers from across the country and around the world. A vacation destination for all four seasons. We promise you'll feel right at home!

The Owner, and Often the Cook
Jill has owned and run Lily Lake Resort for more than 20 years, and she makes a lot of the specials on the chalkboard herself. When there's no cook in the kitchen, you'll find Jill at the stove.
